Ingredients 

  • Sacha Inchi Powder – 2 tablespoons
  • Bell Pepper – 1, Red
  • Canned Chickpeas – 2 cups (drained)
  • Garlic – 1 clove, minced properly
  • Tahini paste – 3 tablespoons
  • Olive oil – 3 tablespoons
  • Water – 1/4 cup
  • Salt – (to taste)
  • Lemon Juice – 2 tablespoons
  • Ground cumin – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Pepper flakes – a small pinch of red pepper
  • Smoked paprika – 1/2 teaspoon ground 

Instruction

  • The recipe starts by carefully roasting the large-sized bell pepper on the stove flame.
  • Keep roasting the bell pepper for at least 10 minutes until it is blackened and soft. 
  • Once done, place the bell pepper in a small bowl and cover it. 
  • Let the bell pepper steam for about 5 minutes. 
  • After 5 minutes, carefully remove the charred skin and place it in the blender. 
  • Add the rest of the ingredients to the list. 
  • Give the ingredients a good blend until smooth. 
  • Add a little amount of water as needed.  
  • When the hummus has reached the desired consistency, transfer it to a bowl.
  • Sprinkle it with smoked paprika and bell pepper chunks.

Sacha Inchi and Spinach Pie

Ingredients 

  • Sacha Inchi Powder – 1/4 cup 
  • Spinach – 5 cups, fresh, chopped)
  • Onion – ½, chopped)
  • Garlic – 2 cloves (minced)
  • Chicken Eggs – 3
  • Butter – 1/2 cup (unsalted and cold)
  • Salt – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Water – 2 tablespoons
  • Whole milk – 1/2 cup
  • Feta cheese – 1 cup, cubed 
  • All-purpose flour – 1 cup

Instructions 

  • Start the recipe by making pie crust with Organic Sacha Inchi powdersalt, butterand flour. Add all the ingredients to a food processor and give it a pulse to combine. 
  • While being incorporated, slowly add cold butter and water. 
  • When the dough is crumbly and nicely sticks together, take out the dough.
  • Now, use the dough to make a disk and wrap it in the cling film. Refrigerate the same for an hour. 
  • As the dough is resting in the fridge, start with making a filling. 
  • Start sautéing garlic and onion over medium heat until translucent. Then add spinach and cook it.
  • When the spinach is cooked and wilted, please take out the filling in a tray and allow it to cool down. 
  • Meanwhile, take a small bowl and pour milk. In that, add eggs and mix them all with a fork. 
  • Add seasonings, salt & pepper, and mix well. Keep this mix aside and prepare for the pie crust.
  • Please take the dough from the refrigerator and roll it with some dry flour.
  • Transfer the rolled-out dough with the help of a rolling pin to a 23 cm baking pan.
  • Use a fork to prick the dough evenly and refrigerate the pan along with the dough for some time. 
  • Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 230°C for 15 minutes. 
  • Once the oven is preheated, take out the pan from the refrigerator and place it in the oven for 15 minutes. 
  • After 15 minutes, take the baking pan out and lower the oven temperature to 190°C. 
  • Fill the pie crust with the spinach mixture and top it off with the egg and milk mix. 
  • Add the feta cheese cubes and bake everything for 30 minutes on the top. 
  • After 30 minutes, your pie is ready to serve piping hot.
